Just when we don’t think our watch list can go long, Netflix A file has just been unveiled series The version that would be a winner for any horror fan out there. Curiosity Cabinet is set to be Halloween year event. We know, we know — for some, it can be too early to think about costume parties, pumpkins, and the like. But in fact, it is he is Just a few weeks later.
And what better way to celebrate the occasion than by bringing in eight horrifying episodes of the anthology series, scattered over four nights? Goodbye (well, not quite) to reboot some of our favorites because there’s a new nightmare instigated TV program in the city.
And if that wasn’t enough to get you excited (and excited) about this series, we’ve got a brand new one tractor to sink our teeth into it. Now, a word of caution: It’s terrifying. We will not lie to you. But if you are a horror lover, this will be right on your street.
Along with a suitably spooky soundtrack that plays all the time, we get a glimpse of some of the tidbits that will be revealed in the series. Most interestingly, though, Guillermo del Toro gives us the trailer, almost like a Halloween gift. “Imagine your mind as a closet in which you hold your darkest thoughts and deepest fears,” he says. “What would happen if you opened that closet for the world to see? We’re about to find out.”

While del Toro may be at the helm of the project, the story of each episode is told by some of today’s most respected horror creators – including the directors of BabadookAnd the paste or collectAnd the mandy And much more.
With the first teaser released just a month ago, we got our first look at the horror in store, and trust us, even five seconds later it wasn’t for the faint of heart.
Each episode will feature a different cast, directors and story line, all telling a stand-alone story handpicked by del Toro himself.
Episodes include Dreams In The Witch House Graveyard Rats Lot 36 Pickman’s Model Anatomy Grumble Outside And the watching.
“Curiosity Cabinet It’s a show I’ve always wanted to give,” says del Toro in the teaser. “In this anthology, we’ve given ownership of each episode to the directors. Each episode has a whole world. They serve you different kinds of delights – some savory, some sweet. You get a surprise from every bite.”
“We wanted to create beautiful and practical creatures with all the ingenuity that goes into making a great monster. With Curiosity CabinetWhat I’m trying to say is: Look, the world is beautiful and terrible at exactly the same time.”
Some of the well-known faces to join the various actors scattered throughout this project include Ben Barnes (Chronicles of Narnia), Nia Vardalos (My huge Greek wedding), Essie Davis (Babadookand Rupert Grint, starring Katherine Hardwicketwilight) episode Dreams in the witch’s house.
In the short trailer, we get a small – but powerful – glimpse of what’s to come, and if the suspense, the moments that make you jump and blood aren’t your thing, look away now.
In the opening scenes, we’re met with shots of bloodied faces and scaled eye pockets.
As del Toro talks to us about the series’ motives, we see images of snow-filled tombs, a mother caressing her baby before bed to see another baby’s hand on her shoulder and even getting a behind-the-scenes process to create the monsters we’ll likely see in our nightmares. “We’ve made some of the most amazing images in this series,” says del Toro.
