“Dancement continued his attack after the victim, who was 14 weeks pregnant with their baby at the time, even after she fell to the ground, stepping on her head and upper body,” Fox News reports.

“Police said at that moment that a witness near the attack thought it was ‘so brutal in nature’ that he feared for the woman’s life, prompting him to intervene by drawing his firearm at Danesment and making him stop the attack.” I continued. Officers who responded at the scene said the attack left the woman “covered in large amounts of blood,” and may have resulted in a broken nose.

The victim had been dating Danesment for about a year and lived with him for a month, but a no-contact order was placed with him in October after he was arrested for domestic battery and exhibiting a “pattern of violence” against her.

Danesment claimed he “saw the color red” and fainted, but did not deny his attack on the woman.
