Police are looking for a white Hyundai Elantra

It’s been more than three weeks since four University of Idaho students were hacked to death in a shared home near campus, and police have yet to identify a suspect.

The four dead students have been identified as 20-year-old Ethan Chapin of Conway, Washington. 21-year-old Madison Maugin of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; 20-year-old Zana Kernodel of Avondale, Arizona; and 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves from Rathdrum, Idaho.

The two surviving roommates, who were on the first floor/downstairs floor and slept during the murders, are identified as: Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funk.

Police are now looking for a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra that was seen near the house the night of the quadruple murders.

Investigators want to speak to the vehicle’s occupants, according to a press release.

The vehicle’s license plate is unknown.

The Moscow (Idaho) Police Department said Wednesday that investigators want to speak with the occupants of a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra that was near the off-campus home where four college students were brutally murdered on Nov. 13.

“The tips and evidence have led investigators to search for additional information about the presence of a vehicle in the immediate area of ​​the King Street residence during the early morning hours of November 13,” the police said in a press release.

“Investigators believe that the occupant(s) of this vehicle may have important information to share regarding this case.”

The vehicle’s license plate is unknown, but police encouraged anyone who knew a vehicle matched the description to submit the information to their information line.

Other facts about this murder mystery:

  • The 911 call came about 9 hours after a cell phone housemate was killed, but police have not disclosed who made the call.
  • According to reports, Moscow police have received hundreds of tips from people claiming Kylie Goncalves was a stalker, but the information has yet to be verified.
  • It was also revealed that Kaylee Goncalves called her ex-boyfriend several times between the hours of 2:30 am and 3:00 am prior to the murders.
  • A dog was found alive and unharmed at the crime scene. In the morning, the four murdered students were discovered by a housemate inside the house.

  • The sixth roommate was included in the lease in the Moscow house; The police do not believe that this person was involved in the quadruple homicide.

Nikki Scandino has been charged with murder and other crimes after police initially believed her father, Carlo Secondino, had been stabbed to death during an early morning home invasion at their Bensonhurst home.

Sources told The Post earlier Thursday that Nicki is suspected of making up a fake break-in story to cover up her brutal crime.

But the tale quickly unraveled and the alleged killer was also charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the horrific attack in which her 19-year-old sister was stabbed.

The younger sister was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition.

Nikki smiled, but ignored reporters’ questions, as investigators led her out of Brooklyn’s 62nd Precinct Thursday night.

A neighbor of Secondinos also said she heard Nikki Make a phone call in the hallway after the murder, claiming that the family was robbed by home invaders, who also stabbed them.
