Michael Cohen said that Donald Trump does not have the courage to testify before the 1/6 Commission.

The answer to that is not at all. He will not come. He’ll play the song we’ve all heard over and over again. I want to do it. I will get it done. I will sit for him. I have nothing to fear. I am innocent. etc etc etc. And we all know it’s not true at all.
It’s all part of the economic loss that Trump has become so good at. They are already sending emails from the Republican Party. Hey my friend, they are attacking us again. We need your support. 1000 match times and all that. This is all part of the great economic malaise left by the Trump administration.
There is no way that Donald Trump will come to testify before the 1/6 Committee. If Trump testifies, he will either have to confess to committing crimes or perjury by lying, and does not want to go to jail, the failed ex-president will likely try to run out of time and hope that the Republicans will take back the House and the 1/6 Committee disappear.
It would be shocking if Trump agreed to testify and then showed up.
Trump has only testified so far when forced by a judge. Once the subpoena is issued, Trump will sue, and stall tactics will begin.
