House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) still lacks the votes to elect a president, so he promises to investigate Google and Facebook.
McCarthy video:
McCarthy said on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures:
You see Clapper and Brennan using their intelligence clearance to lie to the American public. What Elon Musk Could Do We now know why the White House wanted to fight so hard against owning Twitter.
All he did was spread the truth. Now we need to start looking at Facebook and Google. These are now arms of the Democratic Party, the arms of the Biden administration. But they also used the Intel Society to lie to the American public. Should these people keep their permits? Should these people be allowed access to information? If they are going to be political individuals, then, well, no, they shouldn’t. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what we need to investigate going forward.
If Kevin McCarthy had any shame, he wouldn’t be pushing bogus conspiracy theories and screwing up Elon Musk’s publicity stunts.
However, McCarthy is shameless, so he goes to Fox News and promises to investigate Facebook, which helped Donald Trump run in the 2016 election and dictated its content moderation policies to have a pro-conservative bias, and Google.
Rep. McCarthy is heading to new lows in an effort to secure enough votes to be elected president.
His support for these investigations is below the position he seeks and an insult to the House of Representatives.
