Sorry. Four abstracts and an interview It was enough to stir up enough smoke for Sauron to come to Esquire, find Adrienne, and turn her evil on. (Editor’s note: She is on vacation.Friends, you stuck with me this week – someone watched return of the king In a rotten movie theater infinitely long, three episodes interrupted rings of strength this week. Quick sticks! Let’s go.

While I have the car keys rings of strength Summing up, I need to get something off my chest. From the moment I saw Harvots stuffing medieval berries in their mouths, the happy little clan has been my favorite part of rings of strength. So imagine my surprise when I found out something about the migration-death-glove-journey, where Harfoots routinely die horrific deaths and/or are simply left behind. Then, think of my double surprise when Nuri makes an Obi, so Sadoc Burrows sends her entire family in the back of the caravan, to die a terrible death?! This could be a casual sight like a lonely rusty pile of Stark tech in MCUBut I think he messed it up. (Lardfoot Dongwine, esophagus ruptured by a rabid wolf…take a shot!)

Anyway, Episode 5 picks up with Brandyfoots pushing, singing, and navigating through their migration. The episode never returns to this specific journey later in the episode, which is a bit weird. Have the Burrows and their partners already left them behind, and there’s another adventure in store?

He told us it was Gandalf, indeed!

And the sinister thing going on in his forearm is definitely a red herring, trying to make us think the guy is Sauron but kind of probably doesn’t know it yet. Galadriel, get your gun

I’ll admit it: I agree with Dragon House Recapper, Josh Rosenberg, who parodied to Adrienne (In their fierce discussion of imaginary wars,) who – which rings of strength I felt directionless at times. Eight episodes isn’t exactly a lot of time for a series that stunned Amazon into oblivion. So we can’t really take long periods of time (I look at you, episode three) where we shoot around the big and beautiful trees. I get that rumination on life, love and Sauron It’s kind of all Tolkien, but I needed the forward momentum of Episode V much earlier. In this episode, we really see an introduction to the big fight. By the time the credits roll, the warring factions of Númenor unite and set sail, the showdown against the Orcs is ready to go, the elves are about to drink from the rocks, and the Harfoots seem to be nearing the end of their journey. I know what the dangers of every side scheme are now. I bought. I’m ready to see some TRUE Fighting in the last three episodes of this season.

The power rings go to…

Doreen: Everyone’s favorite miner remains the beating heart of this show. First of all, the man is one of the characters in rings of strength This does not take itself seriously. Life isn’t all about Sauron and the extinction of light in the known universe, ok?! Second, Durin is fully exploited by Elves – yes, even Elrond. All it took was a nice game Please Don’t Let Me Die from Elrond to get Durin to give up the best thing that ever happened to race him in a curse forever. Greetings, sir.

Poppy Proudfellow: O Poppy, your song! Don’t tear my soul like this at seven in the morning on a Friday. Not all wanderers are merchandise…. 🥺

Managed: The actual leader of the orcs? Awarded an honorary ring of power, over Galadriel, in Adrian’s absence? Chaos reigns. Come on, you have to give it up to the villains to make Waldridge, the cowardly traitor, eat the crow in the most terrifying way imaginable. Oh, will you pledge allegiance to me? Kill that teen brat!

Theo: I’m just kidding. My man, just take some shooting tips from Elven warrior and Don’t be a little bullshit about it.

George RR Martin answers ‘Game of Thrones’ question about Casterly Rock

Published

Hello, are you there. Yes you! Ever wonder what Casterly Rock looks like? to me George RR MartinThere was “a certain amount of confusion” about the appearance of House Lannister’s ancestral home. Luckily game of thronesFans everywhere, Martin is taking a break from his hard work Winter winds To clarify a question no one is asking.

On his trusted blog, Martin posted a lengthy world-building meditation intended to “relieve” any confusion about Casterly Rock. “A certain amount of confusion” is an awfully slippery term, isn’t it? on condition Thrones Fans at the gates of King’s Landing didn’t exactly chatter about it, and I’ll interpret that to mean “little or nothing.” In the blog post, Martin shared a (very low-res) illustration by Ted Nasmith, whose paintings of Westeros were used in game of thrones Calendars plus files worldbook companion The world of ice and fire. “Ted got every little detail right,” Martin wrote, retracting many of the architectural features Nesmith extracted from his novels. The author continued, “If you look closely, here and there scattered up and down the face of the stand, you can see windows and arrow slits.” It’s impossible to see those features in this adorable photo, so I suppose we’ll have to take his word for it.

You see, Martin has a bone to pick with how fans imagine this scene. “Lannister Castle is not at the top of the rock,” he asserted. “It’s inside the rock.” Should the man insist on controlling how readers conceive of his worlds within the privacy of their own imagination? What does it matter – and how does any of this criticism bring him closer to ending the series once and for all? Martin seems to acknowledge the futility of this blog post, writing, “What does all this mean? Probably nothing. I just wanted to set the record straight. Give you everything to think about.” (And maybe put an end to all these pictures of a little rock with a castle on top .)”

The author notes that his novels never pay a proper visit to Casterly Rock; Although the Lannister stronghold has been mentioned hundreds of times, as well as glimpses through characters’ flashbacks, it never really puts the story there in the proper timeline. But maybe it will change. “I hope Casterly Rock doesn’t stay offstage forever,” he wrote. “I have two more novels, and my plan is to have one or more of my point-of-view characters visit The Rock Inn Winter winds or Spring dreamso that I may show you all the wonders, horrors, and treasures of House Lannister first hand.”

At this point, he’s just teasing us, right? Hey George – While things rest, do them Winter winds Next!
