Chuck Todd:

Let me start with the electoral counting law. Only nine Republican members of the House of Representatives voted for it. You are a very concerned person about what happened on January 6th. I’ll be honest with you, I’m surprised you didn’t vote for it. why?

re \ come back. Nancy Maas:

Well, you know, Chuck, I’ve been pretty candid about January 6th and the days and weeks before and after for months on end. But when you look at what actually happened, the constitution took effect on January 6th. The vice president was not able to, and was not constitutionally allowed to overturn the results of the Electoral College. For this reason, she voted against the bill. But there’s a Senate bill that’s similar but not identical, but in the House version, there were some other issues that I think Republicans were acid on. One is to extend polling days by five days in the event of an emergency. I think there is some question as to whether the federal government can come in and tell states how to operate when, in general, the Constitution states that states dictate how they implement their electoral laws. Thus, making sure that we protect the rights of states to make those decisions, constitutionally or through state law, is also an important protection to make. But the Senate version doesn’t have that there.

Chuck Todd has had Nancy Mays at the press meet three times since July 28, 2022.

The Constitution was only able to work because Mike Pence decided to do the right thing. Rep. Mays was suggesting that the country does not need to close the door to Trump’s possible coup in 2024. Nor did she mention Trump’s attempted coup. Mace has been suggesting that the country get used to losing presidential candidates trying to overthrow the government, and Chuck Todd continues to give her time on the air without any opposition to making that argument.

Wand plays the game that corporate media adore. She appears moderate and talks about working with Democrats while refusing to acknowledge that the attempted coup is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Not only is it Chuck Todd, but all of the corporate journalists are enabling the outbreak by giving these guys air time and refusing to respond.

Find out what The Press reviews are in the trash and Chuck Todd may be dumped soon, And a big part of the problem is the institutional media’s refusal to see the attack on democracy as anything more than politics as usual.

The New York Post reported:

Nikki Scandino has been charged with murder and other crimes after police initially believed her father, Carlo Secondino, had been stabbed to death during an early morning home invasion at their Bensonhurst home.

Sources told The Post earlier Thursday that Nicki is suspected of making up a fake break-in story to cover up her brutal crime.

But the tale quickly unraveled and the alleged killer was also charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the horrific attack in which her 19-year-old sister was stabbed.

The younger sister was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition.

Nikki smiled, but ignored reporters’ questions, as investigators led her out of Brooklyn’s 62nd Precinct Thursday night.
