Here’s what we can actually expect from Season 4 of boys.
When will boys Season 4 premiere?
Given that the show just dropped the announcement of Season 4 in June, we can’t say for sure when to expect the new season. However, given previous wait times between seasons, we’re likely looking forward to the next season’s premiere that will air sometime between summer 2023 and spring 2024.
What we do know, however, via Karl Urban (Billy The Butcher), is that it only took place last August. Some new posts by Anthony Starr, AKA Homelander, have teased the new season shoot. And in a couple of posts, Starr shared photos of him with his picture boys co-star Chase Crawford. In one of the photos on Twitter, he wrote that the couple were “Back in Toronto” – which is where the show was filmed.

He also shared an Instagram post with the caption, “Time to travel…I wonder what that means…” Prime Video UK’s official account commented, “Whatever that means we’re excited about it.” Well, we are too.
What will the fourth season be like?
We’ve got some guesses based on some of the key finds from the Season 3 finale. First, there’s the Ryan case between Billy the Butcher and the Homeland. In the end, we see Ryan (son of Becca and Butcher’s ex-wife) choosing to go with Homelander over Butcher. But the boy’s fate has not yet been decided – or, more clearly, will he be spoiled? In the final episode, Ryan was one of many who watched gleefully, with a smile on his face, as Homelander kills a Starlight supporter in broad daylight. Given that Butcher has promised Becca to keep Ryan safe, there is still plenty to explore in this area – especially since Butcher now has a maximum of 18 months to live.
Lucky for us, the show’s creator, Eric Kripke, has opened up about what to expect from next season’s plot. “Most of the season will be a battle for Ryan,” he said. e! News“Because if the Homelander ends up raising children and influencing them, it’s basically a second citizen with horrible bets.”
But also, the moment Homeland kills a Starlight supporter in front of cheering fans is also set to act as a major plot line. Talking to from the insideKripke discussed this moment and its significance for future seasons: “It’s a reference to one of our big themes in Season 4, which is that society as a whole is divided into these two factions and no one listens to the other and the threat of violence is getting worse every day.” He saidIt’s an appetizer of what all these superheroes will be doing to society in Season 4.
Who will shine in season 4?
So far, we can expect Karl Urban, Anthony Starr, Jack Quaid, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Colby Mineve, Laz Alonso, Jesse T Asher, Chase Crawford, Tomer Capone, and possibly Cameron Crovetti, all return for next season. There are also the three new additions: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Valorie Curry, and Susan Heyward.
Some of the other characters are hard to guess. Talking to Entertainment WeeklyKripke explained that while Black Noir is dead, it may not be the last we see in his character. “It’s definitely not the last we saw of Black Noir as a hero. He’s just the guy inside [the Noir suit] In season three, he’s gone,” he said, “but we have Nathan [Mitchell] Play a really interesting and fun character in the suit next season.”
Is it accidental on the road?
It looks like The Boys Cinematic Universe is about to expand. It has been confirmed that the new offer of boyswhich will be titled Fifth Genon its way.
The new show will take place at Godolkin University’s Godolkin School of Crime Prevention, the only superhero school in America. It’s set to follow a new, young group of superheroes as they embark on their superhero journey and compete for the best contracts. While a release date has yet to be confirmed, we can expect to see a very exciting cast leading the show. Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jazz Sinclair, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pegosi and more all signed the boys spin off.
Not only that, but we might also see a cross between the two shows. Talking to LimitKripke emphasized that an intersection between the two is highly likely.
“There’s definitely a crossover, and we’re doing our best to design a world that sees some of the issues and storylines in Season 3, and turn them into Season 1 in Varsity,” He said“It’s as if there’s a presidential campaign going on in the background of that season, and there are certain things that happen in that school in reaction to season three of boys. There’s Soldier Boy, etcetera, but there are also some new storylines happening in that season of the spin-off that we have to pick up and tap into in Season 4 of the show.”
