Bella Hadid has slammed Kanye West‘s anti-Semitic posts and pledged her support for the Jewish community in an empassioned new post.

The supermodel, 26, referenced her Palestinian heritage as she declared she would not stand for ‘hatred or violence’ in the wake of 45-year-old Kanye’s vile posts – which saw him vow to go ‘death con 3 on Jewish people.’

Bella wrote: ‘To say that for the past two days it hasn’t been hard to celebrate my birthday or to not think of the things that have been [posted] on the street or said on public platforms, I would be lying.

Fury: Bella Hadid has slammed Kanye West’s anti-Semitic posts and pledged her support for the Jewish community in an empassioned new post

‘To allow any form of anti-semitism to slip by, as desensitized as the world has become, it would be a disservice to my friends, the families I have grown up with, the people I love and work with, myself, and even the Palestinian cause as a whole. ‘Because what we stand for is NOT hatred or violence.

”I will continue to be a voice for the innocently targeted no matter who you are or where you come from. With that being said, this is NOT okay. Anti-semitism, or targeting any innocent Jewish person, anywhere, will never be okay.

‘I can’t stress how important it is for my following to hear this loud and clear: It is a scary place to live in where discrimination, of death wishes are something of our everyday.

Outrage: The supermodel, 26, referenced her Palestinian heritage as she declared she would not stand for ‘hatred or violence’ in the wake of 45-year-old Kanye’s vile posts – which saw him vow to go ‘death con 3 on Jewish people’

‘It is scary that most people would swipe past something so horrendous and unknowingly go on with their life, completely unaware of how it could affect another human being.

‘But there is a point where we all have to speak up. No matter what. If you feel something is wrong in your heart. Speak up.

‘There are people that I love in this world, people that happen to be Jewish that feel scared by the words that have been used. They feel targeted, they feel uneasy, and they feel confused.’

‘There is generational trauma resurfacing. Generational trauma of their ancestors being tortured and taken. There is self-doubt. There are triggers, and I am here to say that if you see something, say something.

Bella also urged her fans to help stamp out anti-Semitism, writing: ‘Again, to my followers, if you see ANYONE saying something anti-semitic, or being hostile to anyone who might be different from them, call them out’

March: Bella received backlash after she was seen taking part in a pro-Palestinian march in May 2021 (pictured) alongside a man arrested for allegedly beating a bystander in Times Square and calling him a ‘filthy Jew’

‘To my Jewish loved ones, the Jewish communities worldwide, I am here to say that you belong, you are worthy and your right as a human being is to be ALIVE.

‘Just the same as any other race, religion, shape or size. No one can choose where they come from, what is in their blood, or who they are. And no one should be judged for the things they cannot control.

Bella also urged her fans to help stamp out anti-Semitism, writing: ‘Again, to my followers, if you see ANYONE saying something anti-semitic, or being hostile to anyone who might be different from them, call them out. If they are acting on hate, call them out. Every. Time. Let them know there is no room for that kind of behavior in this world.

‘To separate us would be the biggest downfall of all. We need to stand together always.

‘The same way I expect hatred against “my” people, “your” people, or “their” people to be denounced, I will time and time again denounce ALL anti-semitism, worldwide.’

Bella was hit by a backlash last May after she attended the same pro-Palestinian protest as a man arrested for allegedly beating a bystander in Times Square last week and calling him a ‘filthy Jew’ – and posted a picture of him on her Instagram.

The model posted a picture of Waseem Awawdeh sitting on a car amid dozens of protestors in a procession on May 16, along with several other pictures and a video of herself at the rally in New York City.

In her post including a picture of Awawdeh among other protestors, Hadid wrote: ‘The way my heart feels … To be around this many beautiful, smart, respectful, loving, kind and generous Palestinians all in one place… it feels whole! We are a rare breed!!’

Police say Awawdeh was among a gang of demonstrators who four days later punched a Jewish man to the pavement then pummeled him while he was down, yelling anti-Semitic epithets.

He was charged with assault as a hate crime, gang assault, menacing, aggravated harassment as a hate crime and criminal possession of a weapon.

A source close to Hadid said she did not know the man, did not associate with him at the protest and condemns any anti-Semitic violence.

Video of the assault showed 29-year-old accountant Joseph Borgen left defenseless on the ground as he was battered by the angry mob outside of 1604 Broadway.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com at the time, Borgen said there were eight to 10 people taking part in the beatdown and they were shouting anti-Semitic slurs such as: ‘You filthy Jew. We’re going to f*****g kill you. Go back to Israel. Hamas is going to kill you.’

Bella was seen in photos and videos immersed in the crowd as she protested

Brooklyn-based Awawdeh, then 23, was arrested in connection with the attack y and was pictured being released from the 5th Precinct in handcuffs.

In her earlier May 16 post including a picture of Awawdeh among other protestors, Hadid wrote: ‘The way my heart feels … To be around this many beautiful, smart, respectful, loving, kind and generous Palestinians all in one place… it feels whole! We are a rare breed!!’

She shared photographs of herself at the earlier, peaceful demonstration that paraded through the Bay Bridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, in a black and white bandana and burgundy face mask, sat on the back of a truck with other protestors waving Palestinian flags.

Hadid deleted the post after StopAntisemitism.org, an organization dedicated to tackling hate crimes against Jews, posted the picture on Twitter and identified Awawdeh

One photo shows Awawdeh perched on the hood of a Chevrolet truck in a black t-shirt and shorts and a headband in the Palestine flag colors, waving the crutch he later allegedly used to beat Borgen.

Stood with him on the car were a woman and three other men, one wearing a full face mask and beating a drum.

The Instagram post received over 4.5 million likes.

‘Horrific – @bellahadid caught protesting with Waseem Awawdeh, the same man that was arrested for brutally assaulting an innocent Orthodox Jewish man in NYC last night!’ the organization wrote in the Tweet.

After Hadid deleted the picture, the organization called her out again, tweeting on Monday ‘@bellahadid you can delete/archive all the photos you want of your affiliation with Palestinian men that assault Jews in NYC but the internet is forever.’

‘You’re a Karen born with a silver spoon in your mouth’: This comes after Kanye branded Gigi Hadid a ‘zombie’ as he took aim at the model again in a post on Friday as he continued their  feud

A source with knowledge of Hadid’s movements at the May 16 protest told DailyMail.com that she had no contact with Awawdeh and that she does not know him.

This comes after Kanye  lashed out at Bella’s older sister Gigi Hadid, 27, in another impassioned rant last week as he branded her a ‘privileged Karen’ and a ‘zombie’.

The rapper and the supermodel have been caught up in a war of words this week after she leapt to the defence of Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who West had been accused of ‘bullying’ online.

In the latest exchange West lashed out as he shared a screenshot of a comment made by Gigi on Instagram in which she claimed the rapper did not treat ‘V’ like a friend.

While no further context was provided it appeared she was referencing late designer Virgil Abloh after West had been criticised for referencing the designer in his rants.

Gigi penned: ‘Finally…. Thank u! Even people who knew him for a percentage of the time knew kanye did not treat V like a friend ++ V LOVED GKJ…. He’s watching. [sic]’

Screengrabs: In the latest exchange West lashed out as he shared a screenshot of a comment made by Gigi on Instagram in which she claimed the rapper did not treat ‘V’ like a friend

In response Kanye shared in all caps: ‘Im not finna get ran over by Hollywood again. Gigi you a privileged Karen.

‘You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You’re a zombie. You speak up here but didn’t speak up when my child was kidnapped on her birthday. [sic]’

Tensions between West and Hadid began brewing this week when the rapper took aim at stylist Karefa-Johnson after she criticised his controversial White Lives Matter clothing at his Paris Fashion Week show.

In his posts, West insulted Karefa-Johnson’s style and scoffed ‘this is not a fashion person’, before going on to share the ominous text ‘this means war’.

He also shared a text exchange with a person called Mowalola – presumably fashion designer Mowalola Ogunlesi who Ye picked to head up Yeezy Gap a few years ago – in which he has been urged ‘not to insult’ the writer.

The exchange prompted Hadid to comment that West didn’t have ‘a percentage of her intellect’, and said there was ‘no point to his s**t’.

Fuming: In response Kanye shared in all caps, ‘Im not finna get ran over by Hollywood again. Gigi you a privileged Karen. ‘You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. You’re a zombie’

Hadid wrote: ‘You wish u had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea haha…. If there’s actually a point to any of your s**t she might be the only person that could save u. As if the “honor” of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion ..? Lol. You’re a bully and a joke.’

Hadid and Karefa-Johnson have worked together in the past, with the stylist telling ELLE earlier this year that she shares a ‘true friendship’ with the model and there is ‘deep respect and trust’ between them.

Hadid later added on her Story that Karefa-Johnson was ‘one of the must important voices in our industry and could school that disgraceful man in more ways than he knows.’

She also shared a lengthy statement from Vogue writer José Criales-Unzueta who accused West of ‘publicly bullying’ the stylist and said of his latest collection ‘It’s not smart. It’s not interesting. It’s not nuanced. It’s dangerous.’

This comes amid Kanye’s recent suspensions on Instagram and Twitter in response to his anti-Semitic posts.

Warning: West later shared an image of text that read: ‘Nobody say nothing to me in private that they wouldn’t say in public. I’m not yall’s personal hard drive [sic]’, captioning the post: ‘Jesus is king’

In a since-deleted tweet, he wrote, ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.’

He added: ‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’

He had returned to the social media platform after two years away after he was suspended on Instagram after he posted text messages allegedly sent to Diddy in which he accused the rapper-turned-mogul of being controlled by Jewish people who were trying to quash his ‘White Lives Matter’ message.

After he was suspended from Instagram — which is owned by Facebook’s parent company Meta — the Monster rapper included a personal plea to Mark Zuckerberg on his Twitter.

”Look at this, Mark. How you gone kick me off Instagram. You use to be my n****,’ he wrote, while adding a photo fo the two performing karaoke together.

West’s anti-Semitic posts, which the American Jewish Committee has called ‘dangerous,’ were the latest in the line of offensive statements since he debuted a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at his Paris Fashion Week show.

He wore the shirt, along with several of his models walking the runway, and he was joined by the controversial right-wing commentator and provocateur Candace Owens, who wore a complementary design.

During an interview with Tucker Carlson, the rapper-turned-designer suggested that his shirt was nothing but a self-evident provocation that came from his ‘connection with God.’

Fury: West caused outrage worldwide when he and Candace Owens wore the incendiary shirt at a fashion show

‘I do certain things from a feeling, I just channel the energy. It feels right, hits using a gut instinct, connection with God and just brilliance,’ he said, adding that the idea of him ‘wearing the shirt was funny.’

He also said that his father, whom he claimed is a former Black Panthers member, agreed.

‘I said, “Dad, why do you think it’s funny?” and he said: “It’s just a black man stating the obvious,”‘ he said during his interview with Carlson.

‘That was my favorite response, because I kept thinking: People are looking for an explanation. And people say as an artist you have don’t have to an explanation, but as a leader you do.’

Although West’s statement that ‘White Lives Matter’ is just ‘stating the obvious,’ the same logic has not always been applied to the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement’s name by right-wing figures.

Leaked, unaired footage of Kanye‘s sit down with Fox News‘ Carlson show the rapper and fashion designer making further anti-Semitic comments, and spouting conspiracy theories.

Among the theories, West claimed ‘fake’ children were ‘planted’ in his home to influence his own four children. He also said that the late fashion designer Virgil Abhdol, who he called his ‘best friend,’ was killed by the Louis Vuitton company.

The leaked footage, published by Vice Tuesday, shows West going into tangents expounding on some of his more controversial thoughts that aired on television.

He also admitted to getting the COVID vaccine and being discouraged from publicly supporting Donald Trump during the last presidential election.

West has made headlines recently for anti-Semitic comments and his leaked answers to Carlson’s questions only expand on those beliefs.

The rapper was shown to dislike Planned Parenthood in the cut that aired. In a leaked clip, however, West adds that the organization was created by Margaret Sanger, a known ‘eugenics,’ to ‘control the Jew populations.’

West claims he means, ‘When I say Jew, I mean the 12 lost tribes of Judah, the blood of Christ, who the people known as the race black really are. This is who our people are. The blood of Christ. This, as a Christian, is my belief.’

Sanger was a known racist and Planned Parenthood has disavowed her.

His claim about black people being the ‘real’ Jews is based in a belief associated with the Black Hebrew Israelites, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center

Gigi commented: You wish u had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea haha…. If there’s actually a point to any of your s** she might be the only person that could save u… You’re a bully and a joke [sic]’

George RR Martin answers ‘Game of Thrones’ question about Casterly Rock

Published

on

By

Hello, are you there. Yes you! Ever wonder what Casterly Rock looks like? to me George RR MartinThere was “a certain amount of confusion” about the appearance of House Lannister’s ancestral home. Luckily game of thronesFans everywhere, Martin is taking a break from his hard work Winter winds To clarify a question no one is asking.

On his trusted blog, Martin posted a lengthy world-building meditation intended to “relieve” any confusion about Casterly Rock. “A certain amount of confusion” is an awfully slippery term, isn’t it? on condition Thrones Fans at the gates of King’s Landing didn’t exactly chatter about it, and I’ll interpret that to mean “little or nothing.” In the blog post, Martin shared a (very low-res) illustration by Ted Nasmith, whose paintings of Westeros were used in game of thrones Calendars plus files worldbook companion The world of ice and fire. “Ted got every little detail right,” Martin wrote, retracting many of the architectural features Nesmith extracted from his novels. The author continued, “If you look closely, here and there scattered up and down the face of the stand, you can see windows and arrow slits.” It’s impossible to see those features in this adorable photo, so I suppose we’ll have to take his word for it.

This content is imported from Twitter. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, on their website.

You see, Martin has a bone to pick with how fans imagine this scene. “Lannister Castle is not at the top of the rock,” he asserted. “It’s inside the rock.” Should the man insist on controlling how readers conceive of his worlds within the privacy of their own imagination? What does it matter – and how does any of this criticism bring him closer to ending the series once and for all? Martin seems to acknowledge the futility of this blog post, writing, “What does all this mean? Probably nothing. I just wanted to set the record straight. Give you everything to think about.” (And maybe put an end to all these pictures of a little rock with a castle on top .)”

The author notes that his novels never pay a proper visit to Casterly Rock; Although the Lannister stronghold has been mentioned hundreds of times, as well as glimpses through characters’ flashbacks, it never really puts the story there in the proper timeline. But maybe it will change. “I hope Casterly Rock doesn’t stay offstage forever,” he wrote. “I have two more novels, and my plan is to have one or more of my point-of-view characters visit The Rock Inn Winter winds or Spring dreamso that I may show you all the wonders, horrors, and treasures of House Lannister first hand.”

At this point, he’s just teasing us, right? Hey George – While things rest, do them Winter winds Next!
