Interviewer Meg O’Connor asked, “Should prosecutors consider collateral consequences of immigration when making decisions, plea offers, and sentencing recommendations, and what implications should these considerations have?”

“When prosecutors file petitions and push for sentencing, they do so in the interests of justice, and the interests of justice must be an individual decision driven by all issues that occur in someone’s life, including immigration,” Gunnigle replied.

Gunnigle also stated: “I have embraced the American Immigration Bar Council’s statement that there are ways to make petitions as neutral on immigration as possible.”

to remember. Districts that elected Soros-backed CEOs are trying to get rid of them. This does not lead to anything good.
