The collapse of the Silicon Valley bank sparked fears of layoffs, and more failures

Even companies that do not directly bank SVB can face employee pay hurdles as a result of their failure. “I’m very worried about my portfolio companies and how they’re going to make payroll. I’m very worried about the employees that work for my company,” he said.

Hsu is looking for other non-SVB-related sources of capital to connect his companies to the next payroll.

Grindr has sued a Canadian teen who was raped by four men
