Cowboy Takes One Last Ride In the Most Beautiful Way

Bob Sr. co-founded Bobby’s Ranch in Westford, MA, with his son back in the early 1970s. The ranch, which still thrives today, offers trail rides, riding lessons, and boarding. It has long been known as the Home of the Happy Horse.

Bob Sr. recently passed away but he had one final wish —to take one last ride on his favorite horse. His friends and family honored this request in a heartwarming farewell.

His ashes were gently placed in the saddle for what he called his “Last Ride.” As the horse galloped across the field in front of a line of mourners, Bob Sr.’s ashes spread over the place he long called home.

It’s a beautiful moment and one that captured the hearts of tens of millions of viewers around the globe.

“That’s the coolest final goodbye I’ve ever seen,” one person commented. Another added, “The horse ran like he understood the assignment.”

One of Bob Sr.’s friends wrote, “RIP Bob Sr. thank you for building this place! Truly the Home of The Happy Horse!”

Rest in peace, Bob Sr. Thank you for building this special place.
